Waiting for the Lord
Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31, ESV)

Friends, my Sabbath away, which included my son’s wedding, visiting with friends and family was excellent. The time away from the pressure and discipline of daily writing was a blessing.
I have resumed the discipline of daily reading and study that feeds my writing of these daily devotions. In a few days, the Lord will have re-tuned my heart and mind to the point that I will be able to write these devotionals daily.
Thus, I ask for your patience.
I will renew posting my daily devotionals on Monday August 13.
